30 Weeks - 3/4 of the way there!

Since Matt and I are both numbers geeks, I was happy to have him report that we're 3/4 of the way to seeing our little girl face-to-face!  Today is 30 weeks into the pregnancy, and we're grateful that things are continuing to go well.  The baby is 15.7 inches long and almost 3 pounds, comparable to a head of cabbage.  She's getting hefty (as am I)!  Many people are asking, but we still have not come up with a name for her.  Leave us some suggestions in the comments section!  Here are the 30-week belly photos:

My rash is getting somewhat better with my campfire pine tar soap, and I don't have many other complaints at this point.  If I wasn't so itchy, I'd be sleeping fine, and heartburn hasn't set in yet (thank goodness!).  I don't know why this happens, but I have noticed that I have a tendency to spill food on my belly.  You know, that lovely dribble that runs right down the front of my shirt!  Maybe it's because I have to sit farther away from the table when I eat?

We had a fantastic trip to Florida last week, and the weather was perfect in the upper 70's and sunny.  I did swim once in the salt water pool, and it was a cool experience.  My belly floated very well, but when I got out, it felt twice as heavy.  We also waded into the ocean several times, did lots of walking on the beach and enjoyed some very nice meals while looking out at the ocean.  It's funny how a week can seem so far away - today, I'm looking out the window at a winter storm brewing here in Vermont expected to dump a foot of snow!  Here are a few of my favorite photos from our trip to Florida:

This weekend, we are planning to paint the nursery.  We decided on a light pink called "Gentle Butterfly."  Last night, Matt and his dad moved all the furniture out of the room and into the basement, and I had a brief moment of panic before getting excited to have our baby's room all ready to go.  I'll post some before and after pictures when we finish.
