Soaking it in!

It's hard to believe we have turned the calendar to August!  While it feels like the summer is flying by, every week seems to be packed with fun.  Last week was another camp-free week, so we tried to get out and do something fun every day.  The skate park, rock climbing, swimming with friends, a Lake Monsters game, and Christmas in July were a few highlights!

Matt and I also celebrated our 16th Anniversary on Friday!  How have the years gone by so fast?!  We are so grateful for each other, for our family, and all that has come from these 16 years of marriage!  The kids surprised us on our anniversary with coordinating pairs of Knockarounds (the sunglasses we love!).  It was really special, because they had Grandma help them place the order, but they used their own money to pay for them.  Then, Evie baked and decorated a cake for us!  Cue the happy tears!

And let's not forget our favorite 4-legged gal!  Frankie is enjoying her latest summer activity - "pool ball!"  We play fetch, she runs to her pool for a dip and a drink, then resumes fetch until she gets hot again.  Simple joy!
