Last week was school vacation week, and it's always more tiring when we stay home to "relax" rather than traveling during vacation! Things usually start off well, but as time goes on, the bickering between the kids reaches new levels and my patience wears thin. By the end of last week, I was researching more summer camp options and had ordered a new parenting book!
That being said, we did a lot of fun things during the week. The kids got to go into IBM for Take Your Kid to Work Day, which is more like a party than work - face painting, creemees, and lots of fun hands-on engineering activities. I love going and seeing my old stomping grounds and visiting with former co-workers, too.

Noah went to his first kid birthday party at Get Air, which he was absolutely thrilled about. Meanwhile, Evie got to spend a day swimming with her friend at The Essex Spa. We also ventured to ECHO, but didn't stay long since every family with young children seemed to be there at the same time!

The true highlight of the week was enjoying some more time with baby Aurelia (and her mom and dad), and celebrating her Baptism! We were sad to see them head back to California, but so glad we had a chance to meet the newest member of the family.
