Happy Easter, everyone! This year, we are lucky that the kids' school break coincides with Easter, so we celebrated all weekend, and now we have some time to rest up and recharge. After avoiding all the sickness during the past few weeks in our house, it's my turn to be fighting a little cold, so I'm thankful for a slower pace of activities this week.
The Easter Egg hunt with Grandpa Tom was amazing, as always. He created a new wooden wheel for one of the clues, and we had to wheel it through the neighborhood and down some trails to find our next clue. Not to mention all the brain-teasers and other clues that filled the four-hour hunt. He is so creative with the whole process! We have yet to outgrow this tradition, and I hope we never do!

Sunday, we had a little egg hunt and Easter baskets at home, followed by church at St. Mike's and a relaxing Easter brunch with the Zehnacker side of the family in the afternoon. The sun was shining, but it was still chilly (in the 40's)! We are impatiently waiting for Spring to make its arrival...maybe this week will be the week?!
Here are a few other glimpses from the week:

| UGH - a snowy day on Wednesday! |
| Spirit Day at EMS - Evie was dressed as a "BBQ Dad!" wearing Matt's clothes |
| Getting some love from my favorite fluffy girl |
| Evie and Grandma sharing a treat at Cider Lab |
| Evie's new "sleep bonnet" makes us laugh! She looks like a dark-spirited chef! |
| Evie decided I needed to experience "wig hair", so she gave me an Irish dance updo. Ha ha! I have a whole lot of sympathy for her wearing that huge wig now! |
