The house was pretty quiet last week with Evie gone to Camp Keewaydin from Tuesday until Friday. Matt and I both had our Covid boosters during the week, which also slowed us down a bit. Noah missed Evie quite a bit, especially on the bus in the morning and at bedtime. Evie was so sweet to leave us each a note for every day she was gone, so that was a fun little way to feel connected since there was no other contact with her during the week.

| Lonely dinner without Evie! We put her Jenga block in her place. |

| Noah has been having fun with his Tech Deck (a mini skateboard that can do tricks) |
 |
| Missing Evie, but glad to read her notes each day! |
Evie's time at Keewaydin was awesome! She had so much fun, and she told us she wasn't homesick at all. They were really busy every day, so by the time they went to bed at night, she went right to sleep. She loved being there with her friends, she said the food was awesome, and they did lots of nature-based learning. She was happy to come home, but a little sad to leave Keewaydin behind!

| Evie went swimming, and it was COLD! Water temp was 58, and I think the air was even colder! |
 |
| They cooked their own burgers on a tin can grill, and they had to keep the fire going themselves! |

| This is my favorite - 3 generations of Keewaydin campers (or chaperones), and we all still have our name tags! We are so grateful that Evie was able to have this experience. |
The weekend was packed with activities, and thankfully we had some blue skies instead of rain! We had Saturday soccer, two fall parties, a gig for Matt's band, and most excitingly, we got to meet our newest nephew Oliver and see the Wolcott family. We loved the baby snuggles and cousin time!

| Evie scored TWO goals in her game on Saturday! This is a first for her, and she was so proud and excited! |
 |
| She wasn't nearly as excited about playing goalie! |

| More baby snuggles at lunch |
 |
| Evie used a gift card to buy a cotton candy machine. She has been begging for this for a while, and I have to admit it's pretty fun! |

| Enjoying a Fall party with friends! Nice expressions, boys! HA! |
 |
| The kids played with friends at the party, and I got to talk to other adults! It was lovely! |

| Mountain biking date for Noah and Jack! |
 |
| I got my Oli snuggles in, too! He is such a sweetie! |

| Noah played football in the huge field during the party. It was much better than our tiny yard! |
