Harvest Feis!

With soccer done, last week's schedule was a little bit less chaotic.  We had time for playing outside, watching a movie, and just having some down time in the evening!  The big news was that Noah lost one of his top front teeth (finally!), so he is sporting a jack-o-lantern smile just in time for Halloween.

Evie has been helping out and playing with our little neighbor, because their family has a new baby.  Evie is so good with her!

The quieter week was nice before a busy, quick weekend trip to MA for an Irish Dance competition for Evie.  We traveled to this same competition last year, which was one of our first post-Covid-lockdown trips.  Noah came along for moral support this year, and we made a side trip to the Merrimack Outlets for a little shopping along the way.  Evie did a great job at her feis, placing 3rd in two dances and 4th in another.  Since she recently moved up to this level of competition, the comments and feedback from the judges are really helpful to help her improve.

We were all dragging a bit on Monday morning, but I had the opportunity to volunteer in Noah's class, which brightened my day!  I have been doing the Four Winds Nature program with the kids' classes for several years, and I always learn something new myself.  It was so much fun to be in Noah's classroom, especially after 2+ years of all-outdoor programming (in the rain, wind, snow, or sun!).  We learned all about leaves together and did some fun projects!
