Quality Family Time

Whew! It's been a busy week.  We were back to all the afterschool/evening activities last week, and it was one of those weeks where we had something going on every single night Monday-Saturday.  Thankfully, it ended with a 4-day weekend for the kids, so we had some time to recharge.

Noah had the PTO Fun Run at his school last week, and it was so much fun!  The kids were super enthusiastic, and I loved spending the morning there volunteering.  It was a moment of post-Covid normalcy that felt so good!

Friday, we had parent-teacher conferences for both kids, and we were bursting with pride at how well they are both doing this year (sorry, I gotta have a mom brag every now and then!).  After a challenging year last year, we are especially grateful that things are off to a smooth start this year.

Saturday, we celebrated our newest nephew's baptism!  Congratulations to Oliver and God Bless!  The added bonus is that we had lots of family time - an extra cheering crew at soccer, dinner downtown, a corn maze, an attempted sleepover, and several dinner gatherings during the week.  After all the busy days and nights, we are now ready to get back on track with regular bedtimes and schedules this week!

Ha ha, wishful thinking!

Go Team Bolivia!

We all made it out of the corn maze, but the kids' team beat the adults by quite a bit!

Start of the sleepover...we had to call it quits at 11pm when a certain tiny human couldn't sleep!
