Love the ones you're with

The theme for the week was to spend time with the ones we love.  Before the week began, I had been feeling overwhelmed about all the things on our schedule (in addition to intermittent dog GI issues on the carpet, a broken washing machine, and another snow day for the kids), but after learning of the loss of a family friend early in the week, my perspective shifted and I was grateful to have such a full schedule seeing so many family and friends in one week.  Ally and Caroline traveled to VT for the funeral, and despite the sad circumstances, it was a highlight of the week to be able to spend some time with them!

We introduced Caroline to the drums - sorry Ally!

Happy for a quick visit together!

Since it was a busy week, we had a lot of other favorite family moments!  Celebrating Grandma Betti's Birthday:

Noah's Thanksgiving class play:
Noah's class play (Noah is 3 from the back)

"I will bring pies!" said Noah

Singing and doing ASL for a song during the play

Guzowski Thanksgiving celebration (we are very happy that Aunt Boo Boo, Uncle Will and Aurelia are here!):

Matching outfits for these cute girls

I actually did bring the pies! (Ironic that Noah brought fake pie to his Thanksgiving play)

A little post-dinner chainsaw project

Noah's earplugs are taped to his earlobes!  HA HA!  Not sure those are going to help much, buddy!
Guster in concert in Burlington - an old favorite band, and a chance to catch up with some old friends!

Visiting Grandma Barb for her music therapy. Even though she can't carry on much of a conversation anymore, we are grateful to be able to connect with her through music.

The gratitude will continue this week as we celebrate Thanksgiving, giving thanks for our health, family, friends, good food, and a warm house.  We are also enjoying the vacation week off from school and a few days of warmer weather.  Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I got buried by folded laundry while playing with Noah!

Connect Four has been a favorite lately, and Noah's getting GOOD!

Another pair of leggings gone!  Evie blows through the knees of leggings so quickly!

Super cute snuggles at bedtime
