Celebrating with Cousins

It was a pretty regular old week in our household, with the highlight of our week being Saturday.  We celebrated Colby's 12th birthday with a family brunch, then Noah and Elliot played hours of football, we went apple picking, then returned to Aunt Pea's house for a Harry Potter movie night.  Last year, Evie was inspired to start reading the Harry Potter series after the Riggen family went on vacation to Harry Potter World in Florida, and Evie would love for us to visit there after she finishes all of the books, too (we'll see, but I am a sucker for vacations)!  For now, we were excited to celebrate her completion of Book 1 by watching the first Harry Potter movie with Colby and Aunt Pea.  Noah was more than thrilled to watch football with Elliot and Tom instead!

Matt had to cut a hole in our basement ceiling so that a gas leak could be fixed.  That was a little sad, but we are happy to have the gas fireplace up and running now that it's getting colder out.
