We had Noah's Open House last week, and it was really fun to have him be our "tour guide" for the evening. He was so proud to show us all of the books in his book bin, his artwork, favorite songs, the classroom calendar, and much, much more. Evie loved seeing the things that she remembered from kindergarten three years ago, and I loved seeing Noah's unique perspective of the same classroom.

It's getting harder to wake up in the morning for the bus now that it's a little bit darker each day. However, once in a while, we are treated to a gorgeous sunrise like this:
Another highlight of the week was a family dinner with Aunt Diane and Uncle Rick while they were in town. There's nothing better than getting a text saying, "Uncle Rick is cooking - everyone is welcome to come for dinner!" We always treasure these gatherings, and not just for the free food!

Saturday was a picture-perfect Fall day. Soccer in the morning was chilly after our first frost overnight, but it got warmer as the day went on. We made a quick stop at Construction Junction, conquered Whitcomb's Corn Maze, and spent some time with Nana Mil. We collected pumpkins, local honey, and fresh corn for dinner. Ahhh - that day filled my cup!
Sunday was spent with church, football, and two kids coming down with a cold - wah-waaaaaah!
