Yesterday, our
baby turned 5! There are so many emotions as I reflect on how far we have come from the days of his daily projectile spit-ups as a baby and all the sleepless nights for the first 15 months with Noah. I miss those squeezy baby snuggles, but luckily, 5-year-olds give pretty good hugs, too! Noah has the most tender heart, and always seems to know when I need one of his big smiles to brighten up my mood. To celebrate turning 5, Noah requested that we play mini golf, and he wanted to eat cheese pizza and cheeseburgers and have a Spiderman (Miles Morales) cake at his family party. We fulfilled all his requests and more, and had an awesome day with our special guy!
The busy May days have continued! Aside from Noah's birthday, we had lots of other fun things during the week - carpools, Crazy Hair Day, the Memorial Day Parade, a quick (and freezing) first dip in the neighborhood pool, a family graduation party, visits with friends, and some gardening.

| Evie and I have an ice cream date after I get her from school every Wednesday. This week was so cold we had to go eat our treat in the car! |

Evie was excited for her first opportunity to march in the Memorial Day parade in Essex on Saturday with her Irish Step Dance group. They did a great job, and Evie was exhausted by the time she was done!

Evie had her 8-year-old checkup last week, and thankfully she passed with flying colors, and didn't even need any shots! She is continuing to grow healthy and strong - this year, she is 4'4" (52") and 56.5 lbs, and it is so interesting to me how kids follow the same growth curve from the time they are babies. She is around 50th percentile for weight, and 75th percentile for height.
