Could it be Spring?

Finally we have had a few hints of Spring, among the many rain showers.  Noah had his trike-a-thon to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital (thank you to all his donors!), we had our first treat of the season at Sweet Clover Market, and we started getting the yard ready for gardening during some of the nicer moments.  We are hoping that some more sunshine arrives soon, because the neighborhood pool is going to be ready for swimming soon!

To quote Noah - "Hey Mom, I think I need to go skins!"

A big highlight of the week was Evie's birthday party with her friends.  Her class at school has the most wonderful group of girls, who are all so kind to one another, so it was really fun to be able to celebrate Evie's birthday with them.  We invited everyone over for a cupcake decorating party with an official pastry chef, who taught the girls some different decorating techniques.  Lots of cupcakes were decorated (and eaten!), and my heart was so happy to see these friendships that have blossomed over the course of the year.
