Fall-ing out

Evie is looking a little more like a jack-o-lantern after losing another tooth in less than a week!
Before

After!

At least her school pictures were done before all these teeth started falling out!

So, of course we tortured her by going apple picking over the weekend and watching her try to eat an apple!  The kids had us laughing as Noah referred to the Empire apples as "vampire" apples.  Evie would taste the different varieties, and if they weren't juicy enough, she'd say, "Oh, I don't like this.  It's too dusty!"  Strange terminology, but you have to admit you've had a dusty apple before, haven't you?!

Evie had a couple of other events to keep us busy last week - walk to school day, the PTO Fun Run, and her end-of-season soccer jamboree, and Noah had his preschool Harvest Dinner.
Walking to school in the early AM hours

Evie is in the hat - she ran 1.75 miles!
Good soccer season for the yellow team!

Soccer is always more fun with friends!

Roscoe also had a fun week of hunting the mouse that took up residence in our living room (UGH!), and modeling his new bandana from the Target folks that were at the soccer jamboree.  One more week until Target in VT opens!!

Here are a few other weekend highlights:
Some great tunes from King Me
A quick visit with Baby Emily - she is the cutest!
Some Evie/Grandma time - baking, of course!

A nice Saturday snooze

We had several rainy, dreary days, so when the weather cleared, we hit up the park, bikes and leaf piles as much as we could!

When we ran into some friends at the park and the adults were chatting, the kids came up with the idea of a photo shoot with all these poses.  It was adorable!

On the less sunny days, Noah and I had some indoor time, and he continued to try out his many options for Halloween.  Firefighter is still the front-runner!
