May is here, and this month always packs a punch - all good things, but a lot of fun packed into a few weeks. If you see me walking around in a fog, it's because my brain is on overload from planning kids' birthday parties, family photos, mother's day, a preschool carnival, and helping with teacher appreciation efforts! It's also that time of year where it stays light out later, and the evenings are chaotic. We drag the kids in from playing outside, wolf down some dinner, and rush them to bed (and it's still 30 minutes later than we hoped). We have, however, done a lot of biking, playing at the park, and ice cream eating!
Evie's big news for the week is that she has a new bike, complete with hand brakes and gears. She has been outside every morning by 7:30am riding her bike before school, and is right back on her bike as soon as she gets home after school. Along with her two neighborhood besties and Noah, they make quite the bike gang!
