It's been a very busy week! First, we celebrated Evie's 5th birthday with family, both kids came down with a cold, and then we traveled to Washington, DC to celebrate our goddaughter Caroline's baptism. I'm so tired that I'm not sure I'm even forming sentences correctly anymore, so this will be a mostly pictures post!

Evie's 5th birthday was a blast - pizza, vanilla cupcakes with raspberry frosting, gifts, and playing outside with cousins until dark. We gave her her first American Girl doll (Lea), and Evie was especially excited about her new scooter from Aunt Pea.
Our trip to DC was good. It's an easy flight, but traveling with two kids is always a lot of work! Thankfully we had awesome hosts who made the whole trip very easy on us, and we are honored to be Caroline's godparents. Evie and Noah are embracing their roles as pseudo-cousins to Caroline, and Caroline gives the best belly giggles when she watches our crazy kids. What a special weekend!
