Christmas round-up

Merry Christmas to all our blog readers!  We have lots of family around, so we had lots of Christmas celebrations.  The kids loved it, and they surprised us by rolling with the busy schedule and late bedtimes without many meltdowns.  Evie is at a very magical age for Christmas, and Christmas Eve was my favorite time with her.  All of our preparations were done, and we could relax and enjoy the anticipation.  After we got home from church and Christmas Eve dinner, we read "Twas the Night Before Christmas," sang some songs before she went to bed, and we thought we even spotted Santa's sleigh flash by in the sky.  She woke up around 6:30am and snuggled with us until we let her get up at 7.  We had to wake Noah up at 8 to get the festivities going!

As far as gifts go, Evie was very excited about her princess Magic Clip dolls and Lego sets (and the candy coal she got in her stocking!), and Noah was blown away by the toddler-sized drum set from Grandpa Tom!  Now that the celebrations are over, we're enjoying all the new toys and activities and the time with Matt at home while he's on vacation.

We have lots of photos to share from our five Christmases!  :-)
