Santa, trains, parties, and cookies

Things have been really busy, as I'm sure they have been for most families getting ready for Christmas!  Mostly pictures this week!
Having fun at the Train Hop in Essex Jct.  Evie was super brave with Santa and Noah loved the "choo choo trains!"

Cookie decorating and Christmas village set-up with Grandpa Tom

Thanks to the help of both grandmas, Matt and I had a fun date night at the IBM Christmas party on Saturday.  In all the years Matt and I have been affiliated with IBM, this is the first "fancy" party we've attended, and it was so much fun!  There was a mentalist, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and lots of old friends to catch up with.  It was a great night, and the icing on the cake was that we got to sleep until 9:15 the next morning.  AMAZING!

Back on the home front, Noah is sitting in his "big boy chair" at the table with us, and doing everything he can to keep up with his big sis.  He is giving us a preview of the terrible twos with tantrums and hitting if he doesn't get his way, but the crazy thing is that within a few minutes, he's back to being a sweet, lovable little guy.

Big boy chair!

This can be fun, and it can also be a disaster at dinner time!

It has been a very strangely warm December, but there was one day last week that required some warmer layers.  Poor Noah looked like the Michelin Man in his jacket!

And, I'll end with a laugh for you, courtesy of our creative friend Pat!
