Some days I feel like Evie is such a Daddy's girl that she forgets about Mommy. I know she loves me, but she's not always the most affectionate girl. For some reason last week, I was showered with kisses from my sweet girl. For all those frustrating days of being a mom, this collage reminds me of the rewards that come with being a mom.
We treasure all of our friends, and we were so happy to have a visit from Jenn and Heather, some friends from St. Mike's who we haven't seen in almost a year. Evelyn was especially smitten with "Denn and Feather" (we will work on pronunciation this week!).
Evelyn got a new tooth (her first canine) this week, and since it has popped through, she's been in a great mood. We've had both warm and freezing days, but the girl continues to insist on being outside every day!

And when it got REALLY cold and windy, we played inside instead...

We are still waiting on our basement project, but we are tentatively schedule to have our egress window installed this week. Fingers crossed! I think Evelyn might actually be sad when we put walls up!
