We just caught our breath after returning from Denver, and then we took another weekend trip (in the car this time) to Saratoga, NY. It was a great weekend to celebrate the baby shower of our dear friends Shannon and Dave, but when we got home on Sunday, it felt like heaven to be home after two weekends in a row of traveling.

| Walking with Daddy in downtown Saratoga |
| College roomies and our kids (obviously Shannon's kid is still incubating) |
| Super cute baby shower favors from Cookiedoodlez - all you Vermonters should keep this in mind for your parties! |
Evie, like her mommy, doesn't travel particularly well in the car. She gets impatient and whiny, and she only seems to nap for 30-minute intervals. We consoled ourselves by stopping at the outlets in Lake George on our way through to do a little shopping!
| If only she could ride in the front seat, she'd be so happy! |
| We took turns playing in the car with Evie at the outlets so the other one could shop |
I was really proud of Evie's behavior over the weekend as we dragged her to events and restaurants, and she saved her cranky times for when we were alone with her (I really do prefer it that way!). At the hotel, we had to be a little bit creative with meal times and sleep times, but she rolled with it! (ha ha, no pun intended!)

| Office chair transformed into a high chair |
| Hanging out in the bathroom at the hotel, waiting for Evie to fall asleep on Friday night. 45 minutes later, we wished we had remembered to bring our beers into the bathroom with us! |
| Matt thought the bath tub was the most comfortable spot! |
Now that we are home, it's so nice to do all the simple things like feeding Roscoe, playing play-doh, visiting cousins, and sleeping in our own beds. Evie also learned to put on her own slip-on shoes today, which totally blew me away! There really is no place like home!
One of Evie's favorite passtime is to dress "Sally eppelant" (Sally the elephant) in Evie's clothes and pajamas. It's super cute until I have to re-fold all the laundry and put it away!

| Play-doh is a FAVORITE passtime |
| Enjoying a special chocolate treat at Grandma's house. Nice chocolate mustache! |
| Snuggling with cousin Carly |

| Feeding Roscoe |
Too cute!!
