Goodbye, Mullet!

We decided we couldn't stand the mullet any longer, so we took Evie for a haircut on Saturday with Matt's awesome hairdresser, Kendra.  She was so patient, giving Evie lots of combs and clips to hold while she got a trim.  Evie's new style is the "baby bob" - we have to let the front grow, but the back got shaped and trimmed.  We didn't do a good job of getting any "after" pictures, but you can see it a little in this one:

Mommy and Daddy also got to go on a fun date to the Switchback 10th anniversary party on Saturday afternoon.  The only bad thing was the "evening hangover" we suffered from drinking a bunch of beers in the afternoon!

Other than that, just the normal happenings around the house...
A little ping-pong

Getting ready to go outside, as always!  At least she's got some cute rain gear!

Somehow, we also got to go out to dinner with Evie last week.  Some people go out to eat a lot, but this is a rare occurrence for us!  We went to Longhorn, and she had her own kids' meal, which she loved, and coloring with crayons helped keep her busy while we were eating.  Matt and I looked at each other afterward, thinking, "Did we just have a successful dinner out as a family?  YAY!!"
