Happy Labor Day!

We had a great Labor Day weekend, and we hope everyone else did, as well!  We went on a nice Labor Day hike, which we haven't done in a few months.  I can tell it's been a while, because Evelyn felt much heavier on my back!  Let the "Mommy Boot Camp" (aka, family hikes carrying a 20+lb baby) begin.

Evelyn was happy that there was a playground at the end of the hike!
We also had the privelage of seeing Zac Brown Band over the weekend (thanks to Grandma Karen for babysitting!).  It was an amazing concert, and it was one of those musical experiences that nourished my soul.  The best part is that I feel refreshed as a mom, ready to run around with Evelyn again.  She continues to be a curious and busy toddler, and we are so amazed by the developments that seemingly happen overnight.  One of my favorite sayings of hers right now is "dokey-dokey", because she's heard us say "Okee dokey" so many times!
Evelyn loves to take my clothes out of the dresser.  She selected this bathing suit to model the other day!
Helping Daddy work from home.  Is that a bar graph I see on the computer screen?  She's so smart!
