We had another lovely week of early Fall weather, and one of our favorite things is to hang out with our little neighbors outside when everyone gets home after work/school. It's good old-fashioned kid fun - bikes, scooters, sidewalk chalk, etc. and I love that even our big kids like to hang out with the little ones while we visit with the neighbors. We almost had a hot air balloon land in our neighborhood one night last week, which added to the fun!

The weekend was a busy and fun one. We all headed to MA for the weekend, but in two cars, with two different agendas! It sounds a little convoluted, but we got to do some shopping together, share some meals and stay at the same hotel before heading our separate ways. Matt, Noah and Grandpa Tom branched off on Sunday to go to the Steelers vs. Patriots game at Gillette Stadium in celebration of Grandpa's 70th birthday last month. The boys had a ton of fun experiencing an NFL game together (Noah and Tom's first ever!), and they got to visit the Patriots Hall of Fame at the stadium after the game. Noah said he had the best hot dog ever, and all fans were super friendly, giving high-fives and tossing the football to him in the tailgating zone in the parking lot. As the icing on the cake, the Steelers won!

Evie and I didn't go to the game, because she had a dance competition at the same time, just a few towns away. We headed over to one of our most familiar Feis locations, the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, as the boys headed off to the game. Evie had to return her perpetual cup trophy that she won last year, which was a little bit sad! But it also reminded us that this is the one year anniversary of her making it into Open Champs! Evie danced well at the competition, and she just missed the podium by one place. She is still finding her footing in this group of talented dancers and working her way up. As a spectator, I am in awe at the level of dancing they all bring to the stage.
