Summer has given us a much-needed breather from the early morning wake-ups, which we are all appreciating. However, the evening schedule has remained busy with baseball and dance. Both kids are working hard and showing some serious dedication to their sports, and we parents are showing a lot of dedication to driving!
Noah's all-star team has been practicing every day, and the dedication paid off with a win in their first tournament game on Saturday! It's really fun to watch their games at this point, because it feels like real baseball. The pitchers can get the ball over the plate, kids get hits, and the fielders make the plays. Not to mention the enthusiastic team spirit and camaraderie! Their next game is Thursday! Go Townies!

When Noah wasn't playing baseball last week, he was watching it! We made it to two Vermont Lake Monsters games, which were a ton of fun!
Meanwhile, Evie has been working hard at dance, getting ready for the North American Irish Dance competition (Nationals). Evie will dance on July 9th (Nana Mil's birthday - that's got to be good luck!), which is coming up quickly. This will be our first dance competition that we fly to, and it's Evie's first "major" competition in Irish dance, so there are a lot of new experiences awaiting us! We are also looking forward to enjoying a few days in Washington, DC to see some of the attractions after her competition is done.
Aside from that, the first week of summer gave us time to catch up on all the ordinary life stuff - appointments, haircuts, as well as some time to hang out with friends and go to the pool. Is it possible that summer is flying by already?!
