Summer Success

Week 2 of summer break flew by, just like week 1!  We had a few hot and humid days, which gave us a good excuse to enjoy some time at the Sand Bar beach with some friends one day.  We also had some pool time, Matt had a gig and did some fishing, we checked out the new Essex farmer's market, and continued with all the baseball and dance practices.

In the sun - not actual temp!

Remind me to not let the boys go to the grocery store!

Noah's baseball team had their second all-star game, and they won, so they're headed to the district championship game tonight!  Go Townies!!

Evie wrapped up most of her dance training for nationals yesterday, as well.  She has been practicing 4-5 days per week, putting in lots of work, and she feels as prepared as she can for the big competition!  In addition to wrapping up the preparations for Nationals, there are several seniors that will be retiring from dance after the competition, and the McFadden studio has chosen not to renew their lease at the current studio space.  Driving away from the studio for the last time yesterday was hard, thinking of all the memories that were made there with such a special group of dancers.  We will begin the next chapter in the new studio location in the fall, but for now, the focus is on nationals!  8 days to go!

We love this crew of champs!

She's ready to shine!

Goodbye to the McFadden studio space :-(
