Somehow, we ended up with a cluster of concerts all in the matter of a couple days. I found out early last week that I had moved up the wait list and received 2 tickets to the Noah Kahan concert on Thursday evening in Essex. Since Evie and I had tickets to see Meghan Trainor the following night in Boston, we decided it was only right that the boys should enjoy the local show. Both shows were amazing!

The boys were home for the weekend, and Matt continued the music trend with a King Me gig on Saturday at Afterglow, a community event to shed light on suicide awareness.
Noah kept busy over the weekend with a baseball game, a basketball game, mountain biking, a trip to the movies, and some special time with cousins visiting from PA!

Meanwhile, the girls enjoyed the Boston weekend. After Friday's concert, we had a fun day of outlet shopping on Saturday, and then Evie had a dance competition on Sunday. It was a HUGE day for her, because she won her competition, advancing her to the highest level of competition in Irish Dance - Open Champs! My heart about burst out of my chest with pride for her, and then the excitement continued after the competition, when Evie got a new (used) dance dress. It took us a while to come down from the adrenaline rush of the day!

Other noteworthy events of the week: Open House at EMS for Evie, a new mattress for us (boring/exciting adult news!), and a new cell phone for Evie. I could write a whole post about the thought we've put into getting Evie a phone, but suffice it to say that she's proven that she's ready and we still won't let her have social media for a while!
