We rounded out the busy birthday month with Noah's family birthday celebration on Friday! It was a beautiful day, and we had some bonus SMC friends who were also able to join us, which added to the fun. Noah had a great time and was so excited to have everyone here to celebrate with him.

Evie had her final band concert of the year on Thursday, which was very impressive, and also bittersweet. Mr. Stone, the incredible band director, is retiring after 30 years of teaching. Matt was one of Mr. Stone's first students, and 30 years later, Evie has had the pleasure of learning from him. Mr. Stone is the one who first gave Matt a chance on the drums, and he has influenced and encouraged so many students over the years. We're bummed that Noah won't have the opportunity to have him!

It was a double-header weekend of baseball games for Noah, and we actually had a little bit of free time to enjoy some outdoor time around home. The weather was just perfect all weekend long! Unfortunately, our neighborhood pool has a delayed opening this year due to some mechanical issues, so we are impatiently waiting for our first swim, but we found lots of other ways to enjoy the beautiful weather. We're all feeling a little weary after a busy spring, but summer will officially be here soon!
