We went from Winter to Spring pretty quickly last week. Early in the week, our family made it to Bolton for our one and only ski/snowboard outing of the year. We wish that there had been more snow and more opportunities to get to the mountain, but we made the most of our one afternoon/evening up there! Evie's ski skills came right back to her, and Noah started with his snowboard on the bunny hill, but eventually made it for a full run on the lift, too. Hopefully next year we'll squeeze in a few more days!

| We got laughing so hard, because Matt took a step and fell into snow up to his knee on the way back to the truck. Apparently he was walking over a ditch that we didn't know was there. |
It was a good thing we enjoyed the snow when we did, because the snow disappeared during the week, and the sun returned for Easter weekend. We began the celebration on Saturday with Grandpa Tom's epic egg hunt and brunch (an all-day affair!), then we colored eggs when we got home. Sunday, the kids hunted for eggs at home, then we went to church and enjoyed an afternoon brunch at Aunt Pea's house. It was a relaxing and joyful holiday weekend!

| We played a great April Fool's joke on our Girl Scout troop, telling them that we'd be meeting to tour the wastewater treatment plant. Evie was SO mad and tried to get out of it. When we arrived, the troop leaders told the girls, "April Fools!" and we went on a hike instead, much to everyone's relief! |
