Activities galore!

There was lots of baseball last week, through all weather conditions - sun, clouds, and freezing temps!  Noah continues to LOVE to play, and when he isn't at practice or a game, he wants to practice at home.  He has been playing catcher for the past few games, and he said it's his favorite position so far!  (A special thanks to Grandpa Tom for getting some great photos, too).

Post-game hot dogs are the best!

It was VERY cold, but we were dedicated fans!

In addition to all the baseball fun, Noah also lost a tooth last week!

New gap on the bottom row!

Evie had a couple of fun things in her week, too.  First, she got to participate in an archery lesson with her Girl Scouts troop.  It was inspiring to watch the girls grow in confidence and accuracy in the hour-long lesson!

On Saturday, Evie and I traveled to Montreal for the day for a Feis.  The drive was a little bit tricky, and we arrived without much time to spare, but we made it, and Evie quickly jumped into action.  She danced well in a competitive group, and she came home with two 3rd place trophies and a 4th place trophy.  She also enjoyed having a couple of fellow McFadden dancers there for support!

Good job, Evie!

In the "strange news" section of the week...we had a water main break on our street on Wednesday night, so we were without water for about 10 hours.  You never realize just how many times you wash hands, dishes, flush the toilet, or get a drink until it isn't available!
NOT good!

I loved this little note that Evie left for Matt when he went fishing early the next AM!
