Spring has Sprung

It has been a beautiful week.  Springtime is such a welcome season after a long and dark winter, and this one is really bringing the magic.  Sunshine, puppies, kids, outdoor play, grilling, and the start of fishing season.  As icing on the cake, Matt got his first dose of the Covid vaccine.  Life is good!

The lacrosse rebounder has come back out for the season

Noah is really into Monster Trucks right now.  He picked out this remote-control truck with some of his Easter money from Grandma and Grandpa!

Homemade Monster truck - I love the creativity!

He even took photos with the fans after his race

A little veg-out time (probably watching Monster Truck videos)

Can you find Evie?  Hint: look up!

The first little hint of green in the garden (chives!)

Ready to embark on a bike ride to meet Evie after school and bike home

The bike ride home included a stop for ice cream!

First Sweet Scoops of the year!

Bike girls - we earned our ice cream that day!

Happy pups having a play date!

Matt's view of the river on opening day of Trout Season 2021

We took Frankie for a little romp by the river to cool off, as well

Grandma and Ellie joined us on the river adventure

Evie and Noah brought their squirt guns and had lots of fun

Happy, exhausted pups (Ellie and Frankie)

Mmmmm...it's grilling weather!

Noah loved this cute little container of Ben & Jerry's

First game of Mini Golf for the year

HOLE IN ONE!!!

Evie's inspiring artwork

A belated April Fool's joke...using clear putty next to Daddy's laptop.  Good one, Evie!

I'm happy to have my flute back after sending it away for an overhaul, but it reminded me how much I miss being able to play with others.  Hopefully soon.

Frankie enjoyed all the outdoor time, including lots of puppy play dates, but we think she might need a shorter haircut for summer, because she is already seeming very hot under all that fluff!

Taking a moment to ignore the chores and just enjoy the snuggle

Her favorite place to lounge is under the dining room table with her head on the chair rungs

Cute teddy bear face

Roscoe used to love to watch the neighborhood from this same window!

Outdoor adventures are exhausting!

Snuggling Daddy's cymbal bag. It's a perfect pillow!
