Easter Part 2

The past week felt like summer, winter, and Easter all in one!  We had some lovely days for being outside, and then we had a few dreary, wet, cold days, including a chilly Saturday for our belated Easter Egg Hunt with Grandpa Tom.  The weather has never stopped us before, and we still had a lot of fun puzzling through our clues and finding eggs in the most unexpected locations.  We looked inside closets, tissue boxes, sour cream containers, and I even had an egg hidden inside a log!  Frankie also joined us for the Easter Egg Hunt and had lots of fun with her fellow doodle friend Lily!

This week is school vacation week, and we are just staying close to home and doing some outdoor play dates with friends.  Admittedly, I'm a little jealous as I see pictures of other families traveling and doing lots of fun vacation-y things, but we are doing our best to be patient as we await our vaccines.  One fun new weekly event that has been helping us get through our Covid fatigue is the Zehnacker extended family Bingo Zoom on Sunday evenings.  It's a light-hearted way to connect with the whole family (including Nana Mil), and both Evie and Noah have been thrilled to be the big winner in the past couple weeks.  We have also been really thankful for that we have friends and family who are vaccinated so we can begin to gather with a few people in-person.  A big highlight of the weekend was spending some time with our friends Mary-Alice, Brian and Emily, who we haven't seen since before Covid began!
We are feeling the Covid fatigue. Sometimes it's all so tiring!

As always, our week was filled with lots of love and fun with our fluffy Frankie girl.  Frankie and I just began a new round of dog training classes this week, so we will be working hard together in the coming weeks!
Frankie got my shoe and then gave me these puppy-dog eyes, just begging for a walk
