We completed our third week at home, and our second week of at-home learning for the kids. We are doing our best to keep track of the day of the week and dial into all the Zoom meetings on everyone's calendars! It's mind-boggling that I am managing my 5-yr-old and 8-yr-old's meeting schedules, as well as the family Zoom happy hours and chats with friends.

Noah has been really obsessed with tree cutting after seeing some trees removed in our neighborhood over the past week. It has provided hours of entertainment for him, from setting up his Legos, Bruder Trucks, and picking out appropriate tree logging apparel from his wardrobe.

Evie had a couple of fun things during the week - she had a private Irish Step Dance lesson, and we also did an online Zentangle class together. She has continued her baking endeavors, and the kids even surprised us with a pancake breakfast in bed on Saturday!
Moods have been difficult at times, and the kids have an amazing ability to push each other's buttons (and ours!). The one tonic we have found is outside time, so we have been hiking, playing wiffle ball, biking, and doing science experiments and sidewalk chalk. Townhome living (aka, no yard of our own) has made it a little more challenging to think of ways to get outside that are safe, not near other people, fun, yet close to home, but we are doing our best. Other creative ideas are welcome!
