| 2.5 year checkup followed by cupcakes |
I was feeling like a deadbeat mom after I publicly complained about Noah's bad behavior last week, then took him for his 2.5 year checkup, only to find out he had his first-ever ear infection. No wonder he was acting so rotten! He has been a new kid since getting on the antibiotics, and I'm once again appreciating just how cute this age can be. At 2.5 years, he is 39 inches tall (98th%) and 31 pounds (64%). Just for comparison, he is 1.5 inches taller than Evie was at this age, and he is about 3 pounds heavier.
We started getting into the Christmas spirit this week, with family holiday photos, the IBM Christmas party, Christmas tree hunting and decorating the house. The kids were SO excited, and miraculously, none of the decorations got broken, despite a couple close calls (like Noah tossing a Christmas mug into a bin full of glass items).
