Happy Birthday Grandma Betti!

This past week we got to celebrate one of our favorites...Grandma Betti!  We went on a family hike (when is it ever 60 and sunny in November?!), hosted dinner for her, and to make the evening extra special, my dad came back from deer camp to celebrate.  Most people wouldn't think this is a big deal, but hunting season is a sacred time for my dad, and my mom respects that.  It was the words of our nephew that made my dad think twice about where he needed to be - he just said, "Priorities, Grandpa!"

The weather quickly turned toward winter after that lovely day on Saturday, and the kids are so excited about the snow.  Evie especially!  She has been waking up early and asking to go outside to play at 7am.  Thankfully, she's happy to go outside and play in the snow by herself, because I'm only thinking about coffee and a hot shower at that hour of the day!

Post-snow play relaxation.  Super cozy!

And a few other photos from the week.  First, I had to share a side-by-side of Evie and Noah in my purple sunglasses.

Noah has been obsessed with his hard hat lately, and wears it all the time, whether playing with trucks or jumping and climbing on everything.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!  We are grateful for all the blessings in our lives, but most especially our friends and family.
