Party time!

Happy Birthday to meeeeeeee!

We had lots to celebrate over the past week.  My birthday was on Friday, and then we traveled to New Jersey to celebrate Matt's cousin Liz's wedding over the weekend.  We've become pretty familiar with the drive to New Jersey over the past month, and fortunately, this trip was a breeze compared to our trip to the Jersey Shore last month.

We don't remember how to travel light!

The hotel was awesome - Evie loved to come snuggle with us in the morning and watch cartoons

Matt caught these photos of Evie being so cute - I feel like they capture her personality perfectly!

In addition to the wedding, we got to spend lots of time with the Guzowski side of the family while we were in New Jersey, and Evie met several new relatives.

Evie got spoiled with lots of gifts from her great-aunts!

The wedding was beautiful, and we have lots of photos to share.  Evie was so excited that there was a playground at the reception site!  (It made cocktail hour a very happy one for Mommy and Daddy, too!)  It was a late night, and we kept Evie up way past her bed time (10:15), but she was a trooper and we were proud of her good behavior during the very long day.  

And of course, it was hard to imagine that some day Matt will be dancing with Evie at her wedding, just like Liz was dancing with her dad...it brought tears to my eyes.  Congratulations to Liz and Tom!
