It's late and I'm tired, so this will be a blog that's short on words, but with plenty of photos. (For those of you that didn't know this little fact, I actually write the Tuesday blog posts on Monday night). We've been having a blast with all the snow, going snowshoeing and building forts in the yard, and enjoying all the toys from Christmas. Evelyn is continuing to entertain and amaze us with her vocabulary and perspective. For example, in the car, we'll ask if she's warm enough and she'll respond, "I'm good." Then a song will come on the radio and she'll tell us, "Roscoe like this song." Some of her other favorite phrases that we hear hundreds of times every day are: "Mommy hold you", "Belly full", "Pee pee potty", "Evie need snack." Yes, I think that about sums up our day today!

| Making lasagna cups with Mommy. Thanks for the recipe, Ally! |
| Having a play date with some new friends. I wanted to steal these sweet boys and keep them! Most of all, it was awesome to catch up with the boys' mom, my best friend from childhood |
| Posing in her new slippers. We all need a pair of these in the winter! |
| She decided she was a big girl and wanted to sit with Mommy at dinner |
| Yummy chipwich for dessert. She thought it was too good to be true! |
| Nom nom nom |
| Even though all the Christmas toys have been fun, her favorite toy today was an empty cardboard box! |
| Looks pretty cozy if you ask me! |
| Matt was thrilled to see that Roscoe was sitting DIRECTLY on his pillow waiting for us to come to bed |
And here are some of the snow adventures...
| Thank goodness that's NOT my car! |
| Very cool snowshoeing scenery |
| We always try to end our hikes/snowshoe outings with a trip to the park. That's our way of bribing Evie to go along! |
So much fun!
| After a face plant in the snow, she realized it's kind of yummy to eat snow! |
| Always end the outing with hot cocoa in a sippy cup |
| We were having so much fun building a fort outside that we stayed out in the dark. We're ready for the days to start getting a little longer! |
| Daddy even built a seat in the fort for Evie |
