My apologies for not blogging last week.  We have been enjoying lots of family time while Matt's had some time off from work.  Christmas was busy, but so much fun.  Evelyn slept in until 8:45, and then she woke up to see that Santa had brought her a play kitchen!  She's been busy "cooking" food for us all week.

We also saw that Santa came and ate all the cookies, drank the milk we left out, and the reindeer munched on the carrots.  What a mess!  They must have been in a hurry.

After the gift festivities, we had a delicious Christmas brunch thanks to Grandma Betti.  It's my favorite meal of the year!

Then, we packed up and headed home for Christmas #2 with the Guzowski family.  Evie had a good nap, and then she was ready to open some more gifts.  Good thing, because she got some pretty fun toys!

We got to spend a few days relaxing around the house and playing with new toys, and then we celebrated Christmas #3 with Grandma Karen and had another delicious brunch.

We also had a chance to visit with Godmother Ally when she was in town, and she got Evie her first pair of snowshoes (Tubbs snowshoes, in fact!).  They are the cutest things, and we have already tried them out a couple of times.  Evie needs a little practice so she doesn't step on her own feet, but she loved it!

Amidst all the hustle and bustle, Roscoe was feeling a little neglected, and we had our first Christmas casualty when he found one of Evelyn's tasty wooden dolls.

Potty training is continuing, and Evie thinks that her new doll Belle needs to work on potty training, too!

Her favorite part of potty training is washing her hands
