Welcome Summer!

Both kids have finished school over the past few days, and we are officially on Summer Break!  Evie had final exams that finished up on Friday, and Noah had to go back for a half day yesterday.  Per tradition, we had ice cream at Sweet Scoops to celebrate making it to the finish line of the school year.  Noah also biked to and from school with his buddies, so had a doubly fun last day.

In addition to our own kids finishing up their school year, we celebrated our nephew Colby's high school graduation on Saturday.  It was emotional to reflect back on the past 18 years and think about him moving on to college next year, but we are so incredibly proud of him!  We had lots of family time and celebrations throughout the weekend, with special guests visiting from Colorado to join in the festivities.

A beautiful day for graduation festivities

It wouldn't be a visit to VT without a maple creemee at Palmer's

While school is done, Noah is still keeping busy with all-stars practice 6 evenings a week, and Evie is working hard on her dance training for nationals.  Honestly, having a little bit of our regular routine in place helps everyone adjust to the freedom of the summer schedule.  Don't get me wrong...we're looking forward to lots of pool days too!

Making sooooo many cookies for all the celebrations

Noah was awarded the teeny tiny trophy, and we had to get a pic with Evie's overly huge trophy.  Ha ha!
These two were inseparable for the weekend! They even had time to do some Irish dance together
