Busy, Busy!

It's hard to believe that Christmas is just about here!  But first, let me send out a couple of special birthday wishes this week.  First, Happy 50th Birthday to Uncle DJ over the weekend!!  We hope we get to share the sidelines of many more Bowdoin soccer games with you next season!

Second, Happy Birthday to Aunt Donna TODAY!  She is one of our most loyal blog readers, always sending us her love and support in all of our adventures.  We love you, Aunt Donna!

This past week was a jam-packed one.   Basketball games, an orchestra concert, a couple of gigs, and running Christmas errands in every spare moment left us pretty spent by the weekend.  Evie jetted off to Montreal for the day Saturday with a friend and her family, but the rest of us had a nice restful day to catch our breath.

Sunday evening, we had Elf Night at Aunt Pea's.  What began as just a movie night a few years ago has evolved into a full evening of making paper snowflakes, eating some yummy appetizers and hunkering in by the wood stove to watch the movie Elf while eating Christmas cookies.  It has become one of our favorite pre-Christmas family traditions!  It filled up our tanks for the final few days of Christmas preparations.  On that note, I'm off to finish up my wrapping and run to the grocery store one last time before Christmas is here.  From our home to yours, wishing you a joy-filled Christmas!
