This past week has been filled with lots of pre-holiday cheer! From Christmas parties and shopping to gingerbread houses, paper snowflakes, baking, fudge-making, neighborhood caroling, and Christmas movie-watching, we have had something fun and festive every day. The kids are getting really excited for Christmas (which sometimes shows up as rotten behavior, strangely enough!), and we grownups are plowing forward through our to-do lists to get ready for the big day, while often reminding ourselves to focus on the joy of the season. It's both a busy and fun time, so there's a lot of push and pull between two!

The other big thing this week was that Evie got glasses! She just needs them occasionally for distance, so we will see how often she wears them. With me and Matt as her parents, she's lucky she made it this far without needing glasses. She and Matt are twins with them on now!
