Lazy Family Week

Thanksgiving week was the most glorious, lazy, delicious week we've had in a while.  We were all exhausted from the busy Irish Dance weekend, and Noah was a little bit sick, so we leaned into having a lot of home time and not too many plans.  We did some cooking, made music, played games, and stayed in our PJ's way too late most days!

Thanksgiving was a fun day.  We started with a family Turkey Trot to get our metabolism going before the big meal, and then we headed over to the Turkey Bowl.  It was a close game, tied at 0-0 for most of the time, but the Red Team pulled out a win at the end.  Everyone was a winner with the chocolate turkey trophy, though!  We were all treated to a ride on Elliot's motorcycle before heading home to do some cooking, and then gathering for dinner in the late afternoon.  As always, it was an incredible feast, and it was great to be all together.

Ok, ok, we did leave the house a few times! In addition to the Thanksgiving festivities, we went to a St. Mike's basketball game one night, we went to see the new Trolls movie, we hosted Harry Potter Night, and we went to see the winter lights at Shelburne Museum with Grandma Karen.  We are feeling pretty refreshed, but the alarm struck early yesterday AM, reminding us that it's time to get back to routine!

Harry Potter Book & Movie #2 - complete!

Some cousin fun before the movie started (Noah's in the blanket!)
