Reunions

Last week was unseasonably warm, so we continued to embrace the outdoor fun as much as we could.  Matt and I enjoyed a lunchtime bike ride to Chapin Orchard and some outdoor music and beers while it was so balmy.  The boys did some adventurous mountain biking at Bolton on Friday, riding the lift up the mountain and biking their way back down.

The mornings have been so beautiful!  I captured this pic after we walked the kids to the bus.

Unfortunately, the nice weather didn't last for the weekend, and Noah had a VERY SOGGY flag football game on Saturday!  They powered through the bad weather, but it was tough for the kids to hang on to the slippery, wet ball during the game.

We had Noah's Open House at his school on Thursday evening, and it was fun to see his classroom and let him be our tour guide.  He was proud to show off his work and all his favorite places in the school!

The kids had a 4-day weekend, which afforded us time to connect with a few special friends.  First, we celebrated the happy occasion of baby Chloe's baptism with the Conner family on Sunday at St. Mike's, followed by brunch and maple creemees.  It was a special day for a sweet baby girl!

The next day, we took a day trip to NH to see the Morris family, dear friends from our college days.  They live on the west coast now, and it's been 10 years since we've seen them, so we cherished this time together!  We met at a farm with a corn maze, animals, ice cream, and all kinds of fun for the kids to enjoy while the adults tried to condense 10 years worth of conversation into a few hours!
