Hearts, Cookies, and Hoops

Last week flew by, with Valentine's Day, Girl Scout Cookie season, and the end of basketball season.  The kids had another "snow" day on Friday, which was unfortunately more of an ice day.  We are missing the fun kind of snow days when the kids can play outside all day and go sledding, but it looks like maybe we'll finally get one of those later this week!  The kids are also counting down the days until school break next week!

A valentine puzzle made for me by Evie

Valentine treats

Lots of sweets!

Having fun with Keva blocks

We have played tons of games of Sorry lately!

Matching PJ's (thank you Aunt Donna!  This gift keeps on giving!)

Evie loves to have some quiet time in her room these days...she's looking more like a teenager every day!  Sigh!

Everything is a drum for this kid!

Selling Girl Scout cookies at Walmart. These girls earned their sales!

The girls got to celebrate their hard work during cookie season with a Girl Scouts outing to Metro Rock!

Evie did the ropes course. She was so brave!

Final basketball game for "The Vipers"

It was a close game!

Awesome team, and amazing coaches!

Noah's final game was in the gym where Grandpa Zeke spent his career teaching and coaching, and where so many basketball memories have been made for our family.  We had to get a pic of them together on this special court!
Noah has plans to keep the basketball practices going at home!

He even performs halftime shows!

We were happy to have a chance to visit with two sets of SMC friends and their adorable little ones over the weekend!  It made me realize that our kids play so independently now, so it was a treat to have some younger kids around.

Meeting baby Chloe for the first time!  She's a cutie pie!

Playing with God-cousin Emily

Sunday jam session with Eloise and Erin.  Noah is going to have some drumming competition

Even Midge came to visit!

The group photo didn't go so well...ha ha!

Frankie wasn't sure what to think of all the activity, but she found a good place away from the action!
