Last week didn't quite go according to plan! Noah had a cold, so he was home Monday-Wednesday, and then Friday was a snow day for the kids. There has been an alarming amount of illness in the schools lately, so honestly, we are grateful that Noah just had a cold! The threat of illness is adding to my pre-holiday anxiety, and I'm just praying we can all stay healthy for Christmas. While I didn't get as much shopping or holiday prep done as I planned to do last week, it wasn't entirely bad to have a slower pace for a few days.

Friday's snow day was a bit of a dud, but by Saturday we had enough snow to go out and have fun. We had our first sledding day of the year, and Frankie had just as much fun as the rest of us! She chased us up and down the hill and loved romping in the snow.

We also had a cookie party and Christmas caroling with our neighbors over the weekend, which was a fun way to continue the holiday festivities. It's a busy week ahead, and Christmas will be here in no time. I'd better go get started on my wrapping!
