I'm not sure where the time has gone, but it's hard to believe we are in mid-November after such a warm couple of weeks! The weather has finally turned to more seasonably cold temperatures, and we were FREEZING yesterday morning as snowflakes were flying on the way to the bus.
Noah missed a few days of school last week because he wasn't feeling well, but thankfully it was a mild bug. We were thankful it was a pretty quiet week, because it was a busy weekend!

Evie and I went camping with the Girl Scouts on Friday night. We stayed at the Boy Scouts Cabin at Mount Norris on Lake Eden, which was a beautiful location, but the weather was tough. It poured rain for the majority of our trip (remnants of Hurricane Nicole), but the girls were real troopers, and we managed to do a hike, shelter building, and a bonfire despite the yucky weather. It sure did feel good to get home to own beds and a hot shower after staying in the rustic cabin!

While we were gone, the boys had a fun time doing projects, watching a movie, going to the library and hitting up our new favorite bakery for a treat. Noah wowed us with some new magic tricks when we got home!

Evie also had her dress rehearsal for Oireachtas (the New England Regional Irish Dance competition) over the weekend, which she will be competing in this Friday in Hartford, CT. It was a long, fun day of practice with the other dancers from her studio, and we are excited to experience this bigger level competition with her. Noah will stay home and have some fun time with Grandma and Grandpa while we are gone! Good luck Evie!!

And I've got to include some cute Frankie moments from the week!
