Thank you, Science!

We reached a big milestone on Friday: Covid Vaccine #2 for the kids!  They will be fully protected/2 weeks past their vaccine on Christmas Eve, which feels like the best gift we could receive.  The kids had some mild side effects in the couple of days following their shot (fatigue, sore arm/armpit, headache, nausea), but they have managed well.  It only seemed fitting that our Magic Bands for our trip to Disney in February arrived on the same day!  We have our eye on the prize! :-)

We had intentionally kept the weekend open in case the kids weren't feeling great, so we ended up hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's and helping decorate their Christmas tree on Saturday (and just we had to stay for the homemade pizza, of course!).  We also donated some toys to Troy's Toy Drive and enjoyed all the decorated trucks, as well as some other Christmas lights around town.  The festivities continued on Sunday with the Jingle Wagon and Christmas caroling.  The season is feeling festive, but it doesn't look very festive outside, because all of our snow has melted!
