It was a BUSY week! Thankfully, the kids were on the mend from their colds, and we could enjoy the warm weather before Fall blew in over the weekend.
Noah's school held its fun run on Friday, and it WAS fun! Noah ran 18 laps, and Matt and I were both able to be there to volunteer. It was the first time we've been able to volunteer at the school since before Covid, and we loved being there with Noah and his classmates.
Saturday was the last day of soccer for the season, so the kids each had 3 games in their Jamboree. It was a festive and busy morning at the soccer fields! We are going to miss these weekend mornings with friends.

| We also got to watch our nephew Stefan's high school team play on TV. Such a treat since he lives in Denver! |
To celebrate the end of the soccer season, we went to see Daddy's band at JCAT on Saturday night. It was pouring rain, but we were cozy in the tent!

Sunday finally felt like a chilly Fall day, and it was perfect for some time at the park. Noah had been wanting to go kick footballs through the uprights, and Evie and I challenged each other to obstacle courses on the playground. I want to savor these days!
Other happenings from the week involved yummy food, figuring out Halloween costumes, a trip to the groomer for Frankie, and Noah has been busy writing lots of books!

| Evie and Matt harvested the last of our jalapenos and made these crispy jalapeno poppers! |
