We are sad that all of our lovely snow has been melting as we approach Christmas! The silver lining is that the sidewalks are clear, so we dug the bikes back out of the basement and let the kids burn off some energy, and then had some time to actually relax at home. Ahh!

The holiday preparations have continued, but at a less crazy pace. We had a fun new event this past weekend - the Jingle Wagon! An awesome family in the community decorates a trailer with pine boughs and lights and takes rides around the neighborhood with people singing Christmas Carols. The kids and adults all had a great time. Evie is also really excited to be preparing to be in the Christmas pageant at our church on Christmas Eve. She is very proud of her angel costume!

Our poor Roscoe boy has been showing his age lately (14 years!), and he has been diagnosed with "doggie dementia." But, he has also been super snuggly, so we are trying to appreciate that, even though he seems a little awkward, like Clifford the Big Red Dog!
