One-on-one time

Fall activities are in full swing, and even though Saturday felt more like summer, we had fun cheering on Evie and the yellow team at soccer.

 One silver lining of school being back in session is that I've been able to have some one-on-one time with each kid.  I pick Evie up at school a couple of times per week, and we often will have an ice cream date, or take a trip to the library together on our way home.  One of my favorite moments was a lunch date on Church Street over the weekend, when I introduced Evie to The Red Onion sandwich.  She devoured it like a true Vermonter!

Noah gets lots of one-on-one time since he is only in school part-time.  He was a little under the weather last week, but he was still excited to bike home from school one day, and he especially loved making baking soda/vinegar volcanoes and "swimming" in the water table!

The rest of the week consisted of some serious momming - driving to and from schools, to soccer, Irish Step Dance, religion classes, school meetings, doctor's appointments, errands.  Why not have Matt install a new dishwasher in the midst of all of that!?  Ha ha.  He did a great job (and yes, I am pretty darn excited for the new dishwasher)!

Noah wanted to be Daddy's assistant, so he made sure to get his gloves and tools ready, too!
