Camps for the win

I spent the past week feeling like the mom taxi, but it bought me some free time once the kids were dropped off.  Evie was at Irish Step Dance camp, and Noah had his first week at Steamworks.  I added Noah's camp to our schedule a few weeks ago when I was losing my mind, and I am really happy with the decision!  He had fun, his behavior was more manageable, and I had two mornings at home that were kid-free for the first time in 6 weeks.  Evie also had a great time at Irish Step Dance, and she is thinking she wants to take a class this fall to learn more.

An exciting event for Noah during the week was watching a real crane in action at our friends' house while they were moving.  They had to have their playhouse moved by crane, and we had a front-row seat at the big event.  Noah was so inspired that he came home and built a play house out of legos, then practiced moving it with his crane.

In addition to the kids' camps, we forged through the super humid weather and kept ourselves busy!

This kid has become a total fish this summer.  He's loving the pool!

The highlight of the week for me was our anniversary on Sunday (12 years!).  We were able to spend the afternoon and evening biking, sampling beers, and enjoying dinner in Stowe.  It was the perfect way to celebrate!
