Happy Birthday to Grandma Betti this week! We had a great evening celebrating her birthday, and we got to celebrate Grandpa Zeke's deer at the same time.

Noah has been giving us a run for our money lately. It seemed like after he got over being sick last week, he came back with a vengeance. The challenging behaviors we have been facing lately include locking and slamming doors, dumping out bins of everything (legos, craft supplies, hats and mittens), tipping over a book shelf, throwing more things than I can count, hitting, spitting, screaming and pushing every button we have. It is really exhausting to be his parent some days, and Matt and I feel like we are failing at this parenting thing so often. But this kid has the biggest, sweetest heart, and somehow two minutes of snuggling with him before bed gives us the energy to try again the next day.

Evie is excited to have the week off from school for Thanksgiving break, and she has wasted no time getting started on the fun. She lost another tooth, had a fresh haircut, played in her final basketball session, went to an awesome bowling/arcade/laser tag birthday party, and has played with friends.
